Example Release Note
As promised, here is my take on the Release note (and yes, of course it’s pink!!)
It includes the title of the release, the audience, any related Changes, Problems or Known Errors and if any action should be taken.
What do you think? Do you use something similar in your companies?

Depending on the role of the note within a specific organisation, I might include the work around (if any) for the known issues. It's possible that some organisations might not want to include a fix date (managing customer expectations lol).
ReplyDeleteAgree with the workarounds to Known Errors and you make a good point around some organisations not wanting to include a fix date. I always like to stay on the side of optimism though :-)
